The UChicago Space Program is an undergraduate-led aerospace organization and SEDS chapter founded in 2020. With over 250 members, it is the largest student-run engineering project on campus. Three divisions drive the work: the CubeSat Division is developing PULSE-A, UChicago's first undergraduate satellite — selected by NASA — which will demonstrate novel optical communications from space; the High Power Rocketry Division runs ~15 launches per year and trains members toward Level 1 and Level 2 certification through the Northern Illinois Rocketry Association; and the Science Instrumentation Division develops radio telescopes and scientific payloads. Beyond engineering, the club leads K-12 STEAM outreach at Chicago Public Schools and public astronomy nights on campus. Your support funds materials, launch fees, and travel to competitions like the Spaceport America Cup.

UChicago Robotics is the university's sole robotics RSO, dedicated to applying engineering and computer science to real-world challenges. The team competes across three tracks: Robobrawl, a BattleBots-style combat tournament at the University of Illinois where the team fields 30-pound combat robots; the All American Micromouse Competition, an autonomous maze-solving event hosted by IEEE at UCLA; and the University Rover Challenge, a Mars rover design competition held in Utah. Beyond competition, members mentor K-12 students through the Collegiate Scholars Program and support the Lab Schools' FIRST FRC team. The club is open to all students regardless of prior experience.
